I’m excited to announce that today is my first day at Long View Systems. Long View has a very mature managed services offering, and is well know for infrastructure work. I’m joining the applications team, and while I’ll be working their full line, I’ll focus on SharePoint and collaborative technologies.

I stayed at my previous company for over seven years. Jumping around has never made sense to me, so I expect I’ll stay at Long View for a while. There is a lot of room for growth.

I’ve been very impressed with the Long View team. The people I’ve met there could be and have been Directors and VPs at other companies. I’m excited to join that high caliber a group.

In the next few months, I’ll be getting up to speed and working some long hours. I hope to be able to keep up with the blog, but I’m afraid it might suffer. I also suspect that I’ll be writing more about non-SharePoint topics. Stay tuned and I’ll try to keep the high quality content flowing.

Thank you to everyone who helped make my career at my last company such a success. I hope that we can continue to work together at my new opportunity.
