The development of a decision support system (DSS) drives business agility by providing market insights and facilitating data-backed decisions. The businesses which leverage a DSS to find order in disparate data points will see more opportunity, make better investments, and minimize risk.
Most of my analytics conversation relate to DSS, though that term is rarely used. Businesses need to know what’s happening and how to respond, and analytics is a perfect driver of that conversation.
